The 3.5-inch touch display Waveshare 29318 with an IPS panel and SPI/I2C interface is a compact and versatile solution for projects using Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and Arduino. Thanks to its small size, microSD card slot, and easy integration with popular microcontrollers, it is ideal for building user interfaces, mobile devices, controllers, and data visualization in embedded systems.
The 3.5” touch display module features an IPS panel with a resolution of 320×480 pixels and a 2-point capacitive touch panel using the FT6336U controller. It supports 262 thousand colors and delivers good image quality with a wide viewing angle. The display communicates via a 4-wire SPI interface, while the touch function uses an I2C bus.
An integrated TF card slot allows for media and data storage, and the built-in voltage level converter ensures compatibility with 3.3 V and 5 V systems. The module supports platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi Pico, ESP32, and Arduino. It can be connected via a 15PIN or 18PIN FPC connector.
