Description

The Brymen BM235 digital multimeter is designed for measurement tasks in electronics, electrical engineering, industrial automation, and servicing of industrial equipment and electrical installations. Its True RMS measurement system provides accurate readings of AC voltage and current, including distorted waveforms and signals generated by variable frequency drives. The VFD V & Hz function enables simultaneous measurement of the fundamental voltage and frequency of variable frequency drives using a built-in digital low-pass filter.

The BM235 features AutoV LoZ, which automatically detects AC or DC voltage while eliminating ghost voltages commonly found in electrical installations. The instrument also measures voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature using the included Type-K thermocouple probe. Relative Zero, MAX/MIN/AVG, and Data Hold functions simplify measurement analysis, while BeepLit™ provides both audible and visual continuity indication. The BeepJack™ warning alerts the user when the test leads are connected to the wrong current input terminals. A 6000-count LCD with white backlight ensures clear readings even in low-light conditions. The rugged housing includes a replaceable protective holster with probe holders and a built-in tilt stand, while 6 kV transient protection and CAT III 600 V / CAT IV 300 V safety ratings provide enhanced user protection.
