Description

The Brymen BM231 digital multimeter is designed for measurements in electronics, electrical engineering, industrial automation, equipment servicing and electrical installations. The True RMS measurement system ensures accurate AC voltage and current readings, even when measuring distorted waveforms or signals generated by variable frequency drives. The VFD V function measures the fundamental voltage of variable frequency drives using a built-in digital low-pass filter.

The multimeter also measures voltage, current and resistance, while providing diode and continuity testing functions. Relative Zero, MAX/MIN/AVG and Data Hold simplify measurement comparison and long-term analysis, while BeepLit™ combines audible and visual indication during continuity testing. BeepJack™ warns against incorrect test lead connection to the current input terminals. The 6000-count LCD with white backlight ensures clear readings in low-light conditions, while the protective holster includes integrated probe holders and a tilt stand. A 6 kV transient protection system and CAT III 600 V / CAT IV 300 V safety rating provide enhanced protection during electrical measurements.
