Crowtail-Knock Sensor 2.0 is a piezoelectric shock sensor with a digital output, intended for detecting impacts and mechanical vibrations. Designed for simple impulse-detection systems in interactive and alarm projects.
The Crowtail-Knock Sensor 2.0 module based on the KY-031 sensor uses the piezoelectric properties of a crystal to detect shocks and impacts. When vibrations are detected, it generates a short voltage pulse available on the digital output. Thanks to the standard Crowtail connector, the module can be easily connected to compatible development boards. Designed for 5 V power supply, it is used in systems detecting motion, impacts, mechanical touch, and as a triggering element in interactive installations and devices.
Crowtail – Collision Sensor 2.0 is a mechanical collision sensor with a digital output, detecting impacts through pressure on a microswitch. Used in mobile robotics for detecting contact with obstacles.
