Description

Prusament Woodfill Birch White 1kg NFC Filament 1.75mm is designed for FDM/FFF printing of decorative models, figurines, interior components and functional parts where the characteristic Woodfill surface appearance is required. The Birch White variant produces light-colored prints inspired by birch wood and is suitable for sculptures, architectural models, decorations and interior components.

The recommended nozzle temperature is 195±10°C, while the bed temperature is 60±10°C. The manufacturer specifies printing speeds of up to 200mm/s and cooling at 100%. A satin sheet is recommended, while smooth PEI with adhesive can be used as an alternative. A brim is not required in most cases.

Material density is 1.16g/cm³. Filament tensile strength reaches 30±1MPa, hardness is 67 Shore D and interlayer adhesion reaches 7±1MPa. Heat deflection temperature is 62.6°C at 0.45MPa and 58.2°C at 1.80MPa. These parameters also provide useful reference data for functional applications, although Woodfill is primarily intended for models where its characteristic surface finish is important.

Printed test specimens achieved tensile strength of 21±1MPa in the horizontal direction and 23±1MPa in the vertical XZ direction. Flexural strength reached 30±1MPa and 37±1MPa respectively, while unnotched Charpy impact strength reached 17±2kJ/m² and 21±2kJ/m². The filament can be printed with a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle. The spool carries an NFC marking compatible with OpenPrintTag.
