This controller allows independent control of three DC motors using a single I²C bus. It supports motor supply voltages ranging from 4.5 to 44 V and currents up to 0.8 A continuous per channel, making it suitable for a wide range of robotic and mobile applications. I²C communication eliminates the need to generate PWM signals and significantly saves microcontroller pins. The ability to connect multiple controllers on a single bus allows for easy scaling of the system to larger motor counts. Pololu 5083
Motoron M3T453 Triple I²C Motor Controller is a compact controller that enables independent control of three DC motors using a single I²C bus. This solution is well suited for robotics projects, automation, and mobile systems where saving microcontroller pins and easy expandability are essential. Thanks to the ability to connect multiple Motoron controllers on one I²C bus, the system can be easily scaled to control a larger number of motors.

The module supports a wide motor supply voltage range from 4.5 V to 44 V, allowing cooperation with various power supplies and battery types. Each channel provides up to 0.8 A continuous and 2 A peak current, which is sufficient for many light and medium-duty applications. Unlike classic motor drivers, Motoron does not require generating PWM signals—the entire communication is handled digitally via I²C. The device offers advanced features such as configurable acceleration and braking, reverse-polarity protection, and monitoring of the motor supply voltage. Built-in LEDs simplify diagnostics of operation and motor rotation direction. Thanks to its small size and low weight, the controller is ideal for space-constrained projects. This version is equipped with JST-SH connectors and mounting pads for soldering power connectors or wires.
