This controller allows independent control of three DC motors using a single I²C bus. It supports motor supply voltages ranging from 4.5 to 44 V and currents up to 0.8 A continuous per channel, making it suitable for a wide range of robotic and mobile applications. I²C communication eliminates the need to generate PWM signals and significantly saves microcontroller pins. The ability to connect multiple controllers on a single bus allows for easy scaling of the system to larger motor counts. Pololu 5085
Motoron M3T453 Triple I²C Motor Controller is a compact controller that enables independent control of three DC motors using a single I²C bus. This solution is ideal for robotics projects, automation, and mobile systems where saving microcontroller pins and easy system expansion are important. Thanks to the ability to connect multiple Motoron controllers on a single I²C bus, the system can be easily scaled to handle a larger number of motors.

The module supports a wide motor supply voltage range from 4.5 V to 44 V, allowing compatibility with various power sources and batteries. Each channel provides up to 0.8 A continuous and 2 A peak current, which is sufficient for many light to medium-duty applications. Unlike traditional motor drivers, Motoron does not require generating PWM signals—communication is handled entirely digitally over I²C. The device offers advanced features such as configurable acceleration and deceleration, reverse-polarity protection, and motor supply voltage monitoring. Built-in LEDs simplify diagnostics by indicating operating status and motor direction. Thanks to its small size and low weight, the controller is ideal for space-constrained projects. This version features 2.54 mm mounting holes and is supplied without soldered pins, providing full mounting flexibility.
