16-channel I/O port expander module controlled by the I2C interface. The module is based on the Microchip MCP23017-E/SS system. Each IO pin can be configured as input or output, a pull-up resistor and an interrupt function can be set for the IO configured as input. The maximum output current should not exceed 25 mA. Interjest I2C can operate at 100KHz, 400KHz and 1.7MHz. The module has 3 address jumpers that can be configured as 8 different addresses, so the modules can be connected to one I2C interface.
