DM300018 is a versatile development kit designed for testing and prototyping projects using dsPIC30F microcontrollers. It enables the development of applications in the areas of control, data acquisition, and communication within the MPLAB IDE environment.
The dsPICDEM 2 Development Board is an evaluation tool for designing and testing applications based on dsPIC30F Digital Signal Controllers from Microchip. The kit supports devices in PDIP and SPDIP packages with 18, 28, and 40 pins from the general-purpose, sensor, and motor control families. The board comes with a dsPIC30F4011 microcontroller, RS-232 and CAN communication interfaces, a 5 V regulator, and a set of peripheral components, including a 2×16 character SPI LCD, a temperature sensor, a potentiometer, buttons, and LEDs. All microcontroller pins are accessible via goldpin headers. In-circuit debugging and programming are supported using MPLAB ICD 2 and MPLAB ICE 4000. The kit includes demonstration programs with source code.
