The ArduCam OV5642 5 MPx camera module is based on a matrix with the OV5642 system. It allows you to resume single images and video recording by AVR microcontrollers ( ARDUINO boards), STM32 , Raspberry Pi single board computers ( Raspberry Pi 3 model B + , Raspberry Pi 3 model B , Raspberry Pi 2 model B , Raspberry Pi 1 model B + ) or BeagleBone Black , thanks to the parallel interface.
The transmission speed of JPEG image data at full resolution 2592 x 1944 px is 15 FPS. It is equipped with a CS mount lens with the following parameters: 3MP, 1: 2.5, focal length 4.0 mm, format 1 / 2.5 ''. The camera module works with 3.3 V and communicates via a parallel interface.
