Description
OAK-D-SR is an advanced AI vision camera designed for enhanced short-range accuracy compared to the standard OAK-D model. The recommended depth measurement range is from 30 cm to 1 m, making it ideal for applications requiring precise depth measurement and detail at short distances, such as quality control or automated production. The camera is also well-suited for systems mounted on robots or lifting arms. The camera's design is based on the OAK-SoM-Pro module, enabling a compact structure. The use of the SoM module reduces the overall design size, making it easier to integrate into various robotic processes. The camera design is open-source, allowing for customization to meet individual user needs.
For power and connectivity, it uses a USB Type-C port, providing fast data transfer via USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps). The OAK-D camera is built on the RVC2 architecture, offering 4 TOPS of computational power (including 1.4 TOPS dedicated to AI tasks). The OAK-D supports any AI models, including custom ones after prior conversion. The device supports encoding in H.264, H.265, and MJPEG formats at resolutions of 4K/30FPS and 1080P/60FPS. In terms of computer vision, it offers features such as distortion correction, resizing, image cropping, edge detection, and feature tracking. Additionally, the camera supports object tracking in both 2D and 3D using the ObjectTracker module. The camera housing is made from industrial-grade aluminum and has a front panel made of Gorilla Glass, ensuring durability in harsh industrial environments. The camera comes with a 1/4" tripod thread and an M4 45 mm mount for easy installation. Maximum power consumption can reach up to 5 W.
