The OV5640 camera module is a 5-megapixel unit with a lens with a viewing angle of 110 degrees and a 24-pin connector. It is equipped with an IR Cut switch and a 70-mm cable, which allows it to automatically switch between day and night modes.
Description
The OV5640 camera module with a 30mm lens offers a high resolution of 5MP (2592 x 1944) for detailed and clear images. It is powered by 1.8V/2.8V and has a low power consumption of 140mA in active mode and only 20µA in standby mode. It supports 8-bit and 10-bit RGB RAW output formats, providing versatility in photography and video applications. The module operates in a wide temperature range of -30°C to 70°C, making it ideal for outdoor applications and harsh environments. The 1/4" lens and maximum signal-to-noise ratio of 36 dB guarantee high image quality. The module has a sensitivity of 600 mV/Lux-sec, which allows it to work in various lighting conditions. It supports various image transfer rates, including QSXGA (15 fps), 1080p (30 fps), 1280x960 (45 fps), 720p (60 fps), VGA (90 fps) and QVGA (120 fps), making it very flexible and versatile.
