Description
The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is a camera module released by Raspberry Pi. It features a modern Sony IMX708 sensor with a resolution of 11.9 MP, allowing for high-quality image capture and full-screen Full HD video recording. With its HDR mode, the camera delivers more detailed images in challenging lighting conditions. The built-in lens offers an ultra-wide 120° field of view.
The module is equipped with an integrated IR-cut filter, which eliminates infrared light, ensuring realistic color reproduction. The built-in advanced autofocus system (PDAF & CDAF) enables fast and precise focusing. The camera is fully compatible with libcamera and Picamera2 libraries, providing extensive programming capabilities.
This device is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models, making it a versatile tool for various applications such as wildlife photography, monitoring, AI projects, and vision systems. The package includes a durable protective case designed specifically for Raspberry Pi Camera Module V1/V2/V3 and selected ArduCAM models.
