Description
The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is a camera module released by Raspberry Pi in 2023. It features a modern Sony IMX708 sensor with a resolution of 11.9 MP, allowing for high-quality image capture and full-screen Full HD video recording. With its HDR mode, the camera produces more detailed images even in challenging lighting conditions.
The module includes an integrated IR-cut filter, which removes infrared light for accurate color reproduction. Its built-in advanced autofocus system (PDAF & CDAF) ensures fast and precise focusing. The camera is fully compatible with libcamera and Picamera2 libraries, offering extensive programming capabilities.
Compatible with all Raspberry Pi models, this camera is a versatile tool for various applications, including wildlife photography, monitoring, AI projects, and vision systems. The package includes a durable protective case, specifically designed for Raspberry Pi Camera Module V1/V2/V3 and selected ArduCAM models.
