Description
The IMX219 sensor module is designed to be used as a replacement component on the RPI Camera Board V2. The sensor features an 8 MPx image sensor and supports video recording at 30fps@8MP, 60fps@1080p, and 180fps@720p.
The module requires the RPI Camera Board V2 to be connected to Raspberry Pi or Nvidia Jetson Nanosingle-board computers via the dedicated socket located on the top side of the board. For Raspberry Pi 5, an indirect connection is required: IMX219-D160 module → RPI Camera Board V2 → appropriate CSI cable or adapter → Raspberry Pi 5. It uses the MIPI CSI-2 interface, specifically developed for use with cameras. It can be used in applications involving drones, robots, and 3D scanning.

The set does not include the RPI Camera Board V2 board necessary to start the camera.Features
