Description
Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 is a camera module released by Raspberry Pi. Equipped with a modern Sony IMX708 sensor with a resolution of 11.9 MP, it allows capturing high-quality images and recording full-screen video in Full HD resolution. With the HDR mode, the camera enables more detailed images in challenging lighting conditions. The built-in lens offers a 75° field of view.
The module is equipped with an integrated IR-cut filter, which eliminates infrared light, ensuring realistic color reproduction. The built-in advanced autofocus system (PDAF & CDAF) allows for fast and precise focusing. The camera is fully compatible with the libcamera and Picamera2 libraries, providing broad programming possibilities.
The device works with all Raspberry Pi models, making it a versatile tool for various applications such as nature photography, surveillance, AI projects, and vision systems. The kit includes a durable protective enclosure, designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi Camera Module V1/V2/V3 and selected ArduCAM models.
