Description
The ArduCAM Mega 3MP is a modern camera module with a rolling shutter, designed for projects based on any microcontroller. With its low latency (42 ms), low power consumption (below 200 mW), and high stability and precision, it is perfectly suited for IoT applications, security systems, and environmental monitoring. The camera features an M12 lens with low distortion (<1.53%) and manual focus adjustment. The module supports a wide range of microcontrollers—from Arduino and STM32 to ESP32 and RISC-V—via the SPI interface. Thanks to the open-source SDK under the MIT license, integration into custom projects is quick and flexible. Moreover, an adapter allows up to 4 cameras to be connected in parallel to a single microcontroller, enabling simultaneous image capture from multiple sources. This makes it an excellent choice for automation, monitoring, and image acquisition in challenging environments.
