The ArduCAM IMX378 camera module is a high-quality vision solution based on the Sony IMX378 image sensor with a resolution of 12.3 MP. It is specifically designed for full compatibility with Raspberry Pi – including the latest models (Pi 5, Pi 4) as well as older ones like Pi 3, Zero, and Compute Modules. With its high resolution of 4056 × 3040 pixels and a wide diagonal field of view (82.4°), this camera is ideal for applications such as industrial vision systems, outdoor surveillance, and AI/ML projects. It delivers excellent image quality in daylight conditions thanks to the integrated 650nm IR-cut filter, which blocks infrared interference. The f/1.8 aperture lens ensures bright images even in lower light conditions. The module is ready to use out of the box – simply connect it to a Raspberry Pi and use the official software without additional configuration.
