The official camera module designed to work with Raspberry Pi minicomputers. Equipped with a Sony IMX708 sensor with a resolution of 12 Mpx and a lens with a viewing angle of 75 ° with autofocus. Version without IR filter. Raspberry Pi SC0875
The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 NoIR camera module, equipped with a Sony IMX708 matrix with a resolution of 12 Mpx and a lens with a viewing angle of 120 degrees with autofocus controlled via the I2C interface. Due to the lack of an IR filter, the camera is adapted to work at night and is sensitive to infrared light. Compared to the previous module, sensitivity in difficult lighting conditions has been improved and hardware HDR support has been added. The PDAF (Phase detection auto focus) technology is responsible for smooth focusing. The camera is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models except the Raspberry Pi 400, however a special adapter will be required to connect to the Zero series. The module is supported by the Picamera2 Python library.
