Description
The ArduCam B0498 is designed for use in machine vision systems, surveillance, and measurement applications that require high image quality in low-light environments. The module uses the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX585 image sensor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 px, providing detailed images and good sensitivity under challenging lighting conditions. The built-in ISP performs image enhancement functions such as color correction, white balance, exposure control, and backlight compensation.
The camera is equipped with a C-mount telephoto lens with a focal length of 16 mm, featuring manual focus and aperture adjustment in the range of F1.4–F16, allowing precise focusing for objects at various distances. The USB 3.0 interface enables high frame-rate video streaming, up to 90 fps at a resolution of 1280 x 720 px. The device supports the UVC standard and operates in plug-and-play mode with Windows and Linux systems, without the need to install additional drivers.
