Description

Arducam B0538 is an industrial monochrome USB 3.0 camera equipped with a 5-megapixel OG05B1B global shutter sensor. The global shutter design eliminates motion distortion associated with rolling shutter sensors, enabling accurate capture of fast-moving objects. The mono sensor provides high sensitivity, low noise, and enhanced performance in the near-infrared (NIR) spectrum, making it suitable for low-light environments and IR illumination setups.

The camera delivers a resolution of 2592 × 1944 px at 25 fps over USB 3.0, while USB 2.0 operation supports 5 fps at full resolution. The integrated M12 (S-mount) lens with a 3.6 mm focal length and F2.8 aperture offers a field of view of 95° (D) × 82° (H) × 66° (V). Manual focus adjustment from 1 m to infinity allows precise tuning for specific imaging requirements. The absence of an IR-cut filter increases sensitivity in the infrared range.

The camera features a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface with a Type-C connector and is UVC compliant, ensuring plug-and-play operation on Windows and Linux systems without additional drivers. The onboard ISP handles image processing functions such as gamma correction, exposure adjustment, and gain control. The B0538 version is supplied without an enclosure, facilitating OEM integration and installation in custom embedded or industrial housings.
