The ArduCam B0588 camera is designed for vision systems operating in very low-light conditions, where high sensor sensitivity and support for long exposure times are required. The integrated Sony STARVIS2 IMX662 image sensor enables detailed image capture under low visible-light conditions, making the camera suitable for surveillance, industrial inspection, scientific research, and robotics applications.
A proprietary onboard ISP is integrated on the camera board and performs image signal processing directly on the device, enabling UVC-compliant operation without the need to install additional drivers. The USB 3.0 interface with a USB-C connector allows direct connection to computers running Windows and Linux operating systems.
The camera is equipped with a fixed-focus lens with an M12 mount and a wide 98° field of view, allowing observation of large areas while maintaining high image brightness. A CNC-machined metal housing provides mechanical protection and supports efficient heat dissipation during continuous operation. Support for exposure times up to 12,935,800 µs enables image capture in extremely low-light conditions.
