Semtech LR2021 LoRa Plus is an evaluation kit designed for rapid prototyping of IoT devices with long-range and high-speed transmission. Equipped with the fourth-generation LR2021 transceiver, it supports Sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz bands, ensuring global compatibility. Thanks to the FLRC modulation, the kit achieves data rates up to 2.6 Mbps, enabling applications that require higher bandwidth, such as audio or image transmission. The hardware is compatible with Arduino Uno, STM32 Nucleo, and Nordic DK platforms, facilitating integration with existing projects. It supports various modulation schemes: LoRa, FLRC, FSK, and OQPSK, allowing flexible operation depending on the scenario, from low-power sensors to real-time control.

The kit provides high energy efficiency, with low transmit current and high reception sensitivity, resulting in longer battery life and more stable connections. The Fast CAD technology with an intelligent adaptive threshold enables fast channel detection with minimal power consumption. The built-in 0.96" OLED display provides real-time monitoring, and Grove connectors allow quick sensor attachment. The kit enables a smooth transition from prototype to production thanks to full hardware compatibility with popular development platforms.
The LR2021 module delivers impressive performance in Sub-GHz transmission (+22 dBm to -10 dBm) and 2.4 GHz (+12 dBm), with reception sensitivity up to -141.5 dBm for LoRa SF12. The kit supports LF and HF antennas, SPI, I2C, and UART interfaces, as well as SWD debugging. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, and typical power supply is 3.3 V via USB Type-C. The LR2021 kit is an ideal solution for rapid prototyping of long-range, high-throughput IoT devices across various environments and applications.
