A minicomputer build kit ideal for those wishing to create their own high-performance solution based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4. It is based on the CM4-NVME-NAS-BASE base board equipped with numerous connectors for connecting a variety of peripheral circuits. It includes a Compute Module 4-compatible connector for easy connection of the module to the motherboard and two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 connectors, which provide not only the original ETH0 network port, but also the extended PCIE ETH1 network port. This allows two independent network interfaces to be used, giving greater flexibility in network configuration.
In addition, the user has a MINI PCIE connector to support a 4G module. It is worth noting that it supports the USB protocol, but does not support the PCIE protocol. With the Nano-SIM card slot, you can use a standard Nano-SIM card to access the 4G/3G/2G network and enjoy a fast internet connection.

The board features M.2 Dual NVME Solid State Drives slots that are compatible with different sizes (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280). This makes it easy to connect NVME SSDs. Also included are two USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) ports for connecting various peripherals, two MIPI CSI-2 camera ports with 15-pin 1.0mm FPC connector and two 4K 30fps HDMI video outputs.
Audio functions are supported thanks to a built-in 3.5mm audio jack, which allows the connection of headphones or a microphone. As an added bonus, the real-time clock with battery slot allows the date and time to be tracked even when the power is turned off. This is particularly useful for applications requiring time synchronisation.

The module is also equipped with a micro SD card slot, which is particularly useful for Compute Module 4 Lite variants that do not have built-in eMMC memory. This makes it easy to expand the memory capacity using micro SD cards. The minicomputer is powered by a standard USB Type C socket.

The kit is easy to install. It offers a wide range of capabilities, providing performance, flexibility and versatility whether the user needs an advanced networking solution, high-speed data access or extensive multimedia capabilities. Full documentation is available on the product page.
