Description
Flux (rosin) with the addition of activators to facilitate soldering. The product has activity similar to a solder paste. Used as a base for a reference flux (25% solution in isopropyl alcohol).
Application
- very good flux when soldering with lead-tin alloy
- used to rub strings of string instruments to increase roughness and thereby increase its grip to the strings
- as a binder in polygraphic paints which at the same time improves its properties
- a component of varnishes, varnishes, soaps, sealing wax, plastics, rubber
