A laser scanner using ToF technology to create a map in a 2D plane. The sensor performs measurements at a frequency of 5000 Hz, which allows for 360° scanning at a frequency of up to 13 Hz. It has a range of up to 12 m, and the measurement accuracy over the entire range is approximately ±30 mm. The sensor communicates via the UART interface (or USB via the included adapter) and is powered by 5 V. The built-in brushless motor ensures long-term and failure-free operation, and the refined optical design effectively protects against strong interference from ambient light. Its small dimensions make it ideal for use in SLAM algorithms, for determining the robot's position in space, creating maps of the area in which it is located, detecting objects and planning the robot's route.
