A module with a distance sensor GP2Y0E03 operating in the infrared band. The range of measurements is in the range of 4 - 50 cm. The data from the sensor can be read out via the I2C interface or an analogue output. The sensor is a combination of LED-IR and a CMOS receiver. Thanks to the measurement method used, the sensor is resistant to the effects of object reflectance, ambient temperature and sensor working time.
