Description

The automatic LiPo battery discharger allows 2S-6S packs to be prepared for long-term storage by reducing the voltage of each cell to approximately 3.85 V. After connecting the battery, the circuit automatically detects its voltage without requiring manual selection of the number of cells. The control algorithm, together with the built-in temperature sensor, adjusts the discharging process according to the battery voltage and device temperature.

The heatsink supports heat dissipation during operation with a discharge power of up to 1 W. Once the storage voltage is reached, the discharging process stops automatically and the current consumption drops below 10 µA, limiting further discharge of the connected battery. The version equipped with an XT30 connector supports batteries with an operating voltage from 7.9 V to 26 V and measures 32 x 15 x 10 mm with a weight of 5 g.
