Description

The Waveshare ESP32-S3-ePaper-13.3E6 kit combines a 13.3" full-color E-Paper display with a driver board based on the ESP32-S3-WROOM-2-N32R16V module. The system features a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at up to 240 MHz, 32 MB Flash memory, and 16 MB PSRAM. The platform supports Arduino IDE and ESP-IDF environments, enabling development of low-power information display systems, HMI panels, electronic labels, signage systems, and IoT applications.

The display utilizes E Ink Spectra 6 (E6) technology, providing a six-color image with high contrast and high color saturation. The 1600 × 1200 px resolution and viewing angle exceeding 170° allow clear presentation of graphics and text under both natural and artificial lighting conditions. The screen requires no backlight and retains the displayed image even after power is disconnected, resulting in extremely low power consumption.

The driver board features a TF card slot, ETA6098 Li-Ion battery charging circuit, speaker connector, and ES8311 and ES7210 audio codecs for audio playback and recording. CH343 and CH334 chips allow simultaneous USB and UART communication through a single USB Type-C port. Integrated 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth LE enable integration with wireless systems and edge IoT applications.
