Description

The NPort 5100 is a compact and versatile device server that allows for seamless connection of serial devices to an Ethernet network. With its compatibility with a wide range of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS, the device is an excellent solution for both individual users and professionals. Support for multiple operation modes, such as TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, and Ethernet Modem, provides flexibility in integrating with existing systems. The NPort 5100 enables real-time communication with serial devices via Real COM/TTY drivers, ensuring the preservation of existing software investments. With built-in 1.5 kV protection, the device delivers reliable performance even in demanding industrial environments. Integrated resistors allow adjustment of serial signals to specific working conditions. The module also offers easy monitoring with SNMP support and the ability to send email alerts in case of errors. Its metal housing can be installed on a desk, DIN rail, or wall. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the NPort 5100 is ideal for applications where space is limited.
