Module with a 12-channel capacitive touch sensor MPR121. The sensor combines two functions: capacity measurement and touch detection. Constant current capacitance sensing allows you to measure capacitances from 10 pF to over 2000 pF with a resolution of 0.01 pF. After collecting data on the electrode capacity, the sensor determines whether the electrode has been touched or released by comparing it with a baseline value of the capacity. The module has 12 completely independent electrodes with built-in auto-configuration and an output that generates a break. To each of the channels, the user can connect a touch probe, e.g. with cables with a crocodile clip and create a touch keyboard. The board is equipped with a Grove connector, so it can be used with the Base Shield V2 and Arduino extension. The module communicates via the I2C interface and is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. Full documentation of the module with examples of use is available on the product page.
