Description

Hak5 Bash Bunny Mark II enables authorized security testing and task automation through a USB interface. The device can simultaneously emulate multiple types of USB devices, including a HID keyboard, Ethernet adapter, serial interface, and mass storage device. The system runs Debian Linux and supports DuckyScript payloads as well as tools used for IT infrastructure security testing. Bash Bunny Mark II can be used by Red Teams, during security audits and diagnostics, and for automating administrative tasks performed on computers via USB.

Bash Bunny Mark II features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor running at up to 1.3 GHz and 8 GB of built-in NAND SSD storage for the operating system, tools, and prepared payloads. The microSDXC card slot supports cards with capacities up to 2 TB (microSD card not included), allowing the available storage to be expanded for additional tools, payloads, and data generated during operation. The three-position switch provides quick selection between prepared payload configurations before connecting the device, while the multicolor RGB LED indicates operating status and individual execution stages. The manufacturer specifies a boot time of approximately 7 seconds.

Built-in Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity supports remote payload triggering and geofencing, allowing execution to depend on the detected wireless environment. A dedicated serial interface provides access to the system console. The Linux environment supports compatible tools including Nmap, Metasploit, Responder, and Impacket for diagnostics, administration, and authorized penetration testing.
