Description

A module with a TMAG5273 Hall sensor, which is perfect for detecting the presence, strength and direction of a magnetic field in three dimensions. Perfect for applications such as proximity sensors, including door and window sensors. The TMAG5273 from Texas Instruments offers a linear magnetic field measurement range configurable to ±40 mT or ±80 mT, and a built-in angle calculation accelerator (CORDIC) with adjustable gain and compensation. The sensor is equipped with magnetic manipulation detection functions and wake-up/threshold settings that can be configured to trigger interrupts via the I2C interface or a dedicated interrupt pin.

Power consumption of just 2.3 mA in active mode (1µA in sleep mode) and precision of ±0.5% make the TMAG5273 an economical choice for those looking for a magnetic sensor with high precision and low power consumption. Thanks to I2C communication and the Qwiic system, integration with other devices is simple and does not require soldering. Of course, I2C pins are also available in a standard 2.54 mm pitch.
