Description

HDMI extender to extend the video signal up to 50 m. It supports video transmission in 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i, 480p or 480i in HDMI1.4B. A Cat5E or Cat6 network cable is required for correct operation (Cat6 recommended). The modules are powered via a USB Type C port.

The system consists of two main parts: a transmitter (transmitter) and a receiver (receiver). The transmitter is connected to an HDMI signal source, such as a computer, via an HDMI cable. The receiver, in turn, is connected to an HDMI signal receiver, such as a TV or projector, also via an HDMI cable. The transmitter and receiver are connected via a network cable.

HDMI extenders are particularly useful in cases where the distance between an HDMI signal source, such as a computer or Blu-ray player, and a receiver, such as a TV, is too great for a direct HDMI cable connection to be possible or effective. This can be the case, for example, in installations in large conference rooms, cinema halls, video surveillance systems, as well as other professional and commercial environments.
