Description

Industrial cellular router designed for integrating automation equipment using RS232 and RS485 interfaces with IP networks and IoT/M2M systems. Teltonika RUT206 supports 4G LTE Cat 4 with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, as well as 3G and 2G networks. Two Mini SIM slots enable automatic SIM switching in cases including weak signal, roaming, network loss or data connection failure. The router also provides WiFi 4 802.11b/g/n with support for up to 50 simultaneous clients, one 10/100 Mbps WAN port, one 10/100 Mbps LAN port and RS232 and RS485 interfaces. An internal microSD slot supports cards with capacities up to 2 TB, providing expandable local data storage.

OpenWrt-based RutOS provides routing, load balancing, firewall, VLAN, VPN, Hotspot 2.0 and support for Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, BACnet and MQTT. The RS485 interface operates in half-duplex mode with a 2-wire connection, while RS232 operates without hardware flow control. The router can be powered from 9-57 VDC, via active 802.3af PoE In or passive 16-57 VDC PoE, providing several power options for industrial installations. An anodized aluminium housing, an operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C and remote management through Teltonika RMS support deployment in industrial automation, telemetry, measurement systems, machine control and distributed IoT and M2M installations.
