OAK-D S2 PoE is an advanced camera designed for robotic vision, combining a stereo depth camera with a high-definition color camera. The RVC2 architecture provides impressive computational power of 4 TOPS (including 1.4 TOPS dedicated to AI). The camera supports running various AI models, including custom architectures (models must be pre-converted). It supports encoding in formats such as H.264, H.265, and MJPEG, offering resolutions up to 4K/30FPS and 1080P/60FPS. The OAK-D S2 PoE also features advanced computer vision capabilities, such as distortion correction, resizing, cropping, edge detection, and feature tracking. With stereo depth perception including filtering and post-processing, the camera enables tracking of objects in two dimensions (2D) and three dimensions (3D) using the ObjectTracker node.
The camera has a baseline distance of 75 mm and a depth range from 70 cm to 12 m. Its power consumption is up to 5.5 W, making it an efficient solution. The OAK-D S2 PoE is built in an aluminum industrial housing, with the front glass made of Gorilla Glass, ensuring durability and resistance to damage. It is equipped with a 1/4" tripod thread and a 75 mm M4 Vesa mount, making it easy to install in various applications.
