Pololu 5659 is a breakout board for JST PH and SH 6-pin connectors, enabling easy integration of wires with 2.54 mm pitch systems. The Pololu 5659 module allows connection of wires with JST PH 6-pin (2.00 mm pitch, side-entry) and JST SH 6-pin (1.00 mm pitch, top-entry) connectors to prototyping boards and systems using 2.54 mm through-holes. Both connectors are wired in parallel, enabling the board to serve as a PH-to-SH adapter or as a universal breakout.
The PH connector supports up to 2 A, while the SH connector supports up to 1 A. With six signal lines, the adapter is suitable for applications requiring multi-wire connections – such as sensor systems, communication modules, or controllers. The side-entry PH connector allows routing wires parallel to the PCB, reducing overall height and making it suitable for compact designs. The board is equipped with two mounting holes for M2 or #2 screws, ensuring secure installation.
