Description

The K32L2B31VMP0A microcontroller, based on the Arm Cortex-M0+ core running at up to 48 MHz, offers high energy efficiency and a rich set of peripherals for low-power applications requiring USB connectivity. It features 256 KB of Flash memory, 32 KB of SRAM, and 16 KB of ROM with a factory-installed bootloader supporting UART, I2C, SPI, and USB interfaces.

The integrated USB 2.0 FS controller supports crystal-less operation, while the FlexIO module enables emulation of additional communication interfaces. The built-in segment LCD controller supports up to 28x4 segments. The device supports multiple low-power modes, with current consumption as low as 54 µA/MHz in VLPR mode and 1.96 µA in VLLS3 mode with RAM and RTC retention.

It includes a 16-channel, 16-bit ADC, a 12-bit DAC, and a high-speed analog comparator with programmable reference input. Timer peripherals include TPM (6- and 2-channel), PIT, RTC, and LPTMR. The microcontroller provides up to 50 GPIO pins and multiple communication interfaces: 3 UARTs (including 2 LPUARTs), 2 I2C, 2 SPI, and FlexIO. Available in a 64-pin MAPBGA package measuring 5 × 5 mm.
