Description
Module with 20x4 characters LCD display and ATMega328p microcontroller. The display is controlled by a microcontroller located on the back of the module. The user can communicate with the module via one of the serial interfaces (UART, I2C or SPI) in a very convenient and simple way. The module does not require the implementation of libraries to operate the LCD display, but only sending characters to be displayed using appropriate commands.

- Display 20x4 characters, black with RGB backlight
- AVR ATMega328p (with Arduino bootloader), supports LCD control
- Three communication options: UART, I2C and SPI
- I2C address configured with special commands (default 0x72)
- Qwiic connector
- Emergency factory reset (RX jumper to GND during boot)
- Operational backspace sign
- The input buffer holds up to 80 characters
- Backlight brightness and power consumption control
- Contrast level adjustment by software
- User-defined splash screen
- Open source software and Arduino compatible bootloader enable updates via the Arduino IDE
