A multifunctional module with an optical sensor for measuring the intensity of illumination, the color of the incident RGB light, the distance from the object and the detection of 3D gestures. The sensor has a detection range of 10 to 20 cm and communicates via the I2C interface. The APDS-9960 system has built-in UV and IR filters and four LEDs set to receive information from different directions. A guide with examples of use is available on the product page.
