The TS-81 flux is intended for brazing elements made of various types of steel - including acid-resistant steel - and elements made of chromium-nickel alloys. This liquid, rosin-free and highly active solution is type 3.2.1 A according to ISO 9454-1 and is a mixture of inorganic and organic compounds. It is applied to the surface in any way, and the residues are removed with first cold and then warm water (approx. 50 degrees Celsius), because they have corrosive properties. The flux has a pungent, irritating odor. It should be stored in airtight plastic containers.
