The adapter features a built-in isolated switched-mode power supply (SMPS) that provides stable voltage and additional protection. It uses the standard 40-pin GPIO interface for Raspberry Pi and enables power delivery directly through PoE, offering flexibility in network configurations. The adapter is also equipped with an efficient fan and metal heatsink for effective heat dissipation during intense usage. It also supports the NVMe protocol, allowing fast access to data on M.2 drives.

The adapter supports PCI-E×1 modes in both Gen2 and Gen3 versions, ensuring fast data transfer. Regarding power parameters, the PoE adapter supports an input voltage from 37 V to 57 V DC.
