DC motor driver dedicated to Arduino boards. It allows you to control the movement of two drives using the I2C interface. It can work with motors with a supply voltage from 6.5 to 40 V and has a capacity of up to 14 A per motor (continuous operation). The controller has a built-in protection in the event of loss of communication with Arduino and the ability to configure the response if an error occurs. The user can set the maximum acceleration and the starting speed of the motor, and the shield construction allows you to connect the drivers with each other. The manufacturer's website includes a user manual and a library with sample programs.

This Kit with fully-dedicated PWM driver chip handles all the motor and speed controls over I2C. Only two data pins (SDA & SCL in addition to the power pins GND & 5V) are required to drive the multiple motors; you can also connect any other I2C devices or shields to the same pins. This makes it drop-in compatible with any Arduino, such as the Uno, Due, Leonardo and Mega R3. Adafruit 1438
