Quad DC Motor Driver Shield is a DC motor driver compatible with Arduino boards operating with 3.3V and 5V. The module allows direction and speed control (using PWM signals) of four independent DC motors, so it can be used eg in four-wheeled mobile robots. The controller can control motors supplied with voltage in the range of 2.5 ... 13.5 V and with a maximum current of 1.2 A (continuous load). The module was based on the popular TB6612FNG chip. The system has overheat protection and a circuit to detect too low voltage

(DRI0009) 2A Motor Shield For Arduino
This Kit with fully-dedicated PWM driver chip handles all the motor and speed controls over I2C. Only two data pins (SDA & SCL in addition to the power pins GND & 5V) are required to drive the multiple motors; you can also connect any other I2C devices or shields to the same pins. This makes it drop-in compatible with any Arduino, such as the Uno, Due, Leonardo and Mega R3. Adafruit 1438
