SimpleFOC Shield Type B enables precise control of BLDC motors using FOC technology, supporting supply voltages up to 35 V and working with Arduino and STM32. The module is equipped with INA240 current sensors and an IR2104 driver with configurable gate voltage, allowing precise motion control in robotics and automation projects.
The SimpleFOC Shield Type B brushless motor driver module enables precise control of BLDC DC motors in applications requiring high accuracy, such as robotics, automation, CNC systems, and positioning platforms. Optimized for Field-Oriented Control (FOC) operation, the module is equipped with two high-precision INA240 current sensors that provide accurate feedback essential for efficient FOC algorithms.
The integrated IR2104 drivers with a configurable jumper for gate voltage allow flexible power management, enabling adjustment of voltage levels depending on the input supply. The module supports a supply voltage range of 12 V to 35 V. Compatibility with Arduino UNO, Arduino MEGA, and STM32 Nucleo boards ensures broad integration possibilities with popular development platforms.
Working with the SimpleFOC library allows advanced microcontroller programming and implementation of complex motion control functions. The module provides phase outputs A, B, C and offers gate driver voltage level selection (below or above 20 V) via a configuration jumper.
