The Prusa Nozzle ObXidian 0.6 mm is intended for Prusa 3D printers using the Nextruder system. Construction based on hardened steel with a protective coating enables long-term operation with abrasive filaments and materials requiring elevated printing temperatures.
The Prusa ObXidian 0.6 mm nozzle is designed for 3D printers equipped with the Nextruder system and developed for continuous use with abrasive materials and at higher temperatures. The hardened steel body, covered with a corrosion-resistant coating, provides high mechanical durability and stable operating parameters even under intensive use.
The nozzle design supports printing with filaments containing abrasive additives such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, and other technical composites without rapid wear of the orifice diameter. Retention of hardness at elevated temperatures allows reliable printing of engineering materials while extending service life compared to standard brass nozzles.
