The i.MX RT1170 EVK is an evaluation kit with a MIMXRT1176DVMAA dual-core processor that combines an ARM Cortex M7 core (up to 1 GHz) and an ARM Cortex M4 (up to 400 MHz). The system has a built-in 512 Mb SDRAM, 512 Mb Flash and 128 Mb QSPI Flash. It is equipped with a display connector, cameras, microSD slot, SIM card slot, Arduino connector and audio output, Ethernet and USB Host and USB OTG. The board has a 6-axis IMU system (magnetometer and accelerometer) as well as an analog and a dial microphone. The module can be powered by a DC or microUSB connector with a voltage of 5 V.

The kit has support for FreeRTOS available in the MCUXpresso SDK. It can be programmed in all popular environments including IAR Embedded Workbench IDE and Keil IDE.
