Control and automation devices have been implemented in digital technology for a very long time. Microprocessors, or actually microcontrollers, are ideal elements for all kinds of controllers - remotely controlled and working autonomously. Remote control has always required providing an appropriate link for communication between the controller or multiple controllers, and a control panel that performs control operations, or reads the status of switch positions and measurements. Microchip manufactures fast, reliable and well-equipped PIC32MX microcontrollers. They are offered a little "against the stream" of cortex madness, but the strong support of the company means that using them does not have the impression of "niche". In the current version, the server has the ability to control 4 relays and read out the states of 8 opto-isolated binary inputs. The built-in console allows you to configure the device using commands entered from the keyboard.
Recommendations: the server can be useful in industrial and home automation systems and as a base for creating your own devices.
