Description
Fiberlogy PA12+GF15 filament is an advanced 3D printing material based on Nylon PA12 reinforced with 15% glass fiber (GF). Thanks to this modification, the filament gained increased strength, stiffness and resistance to temperatures up to 170°C and chemicals, exceeding the properties of pure Nylon. PA12+GF15 has a stiffness of 3.6 GPa, which makes it an excellent choice for demanding engineering applications.
Compared to filaments with the addition of carbon fibers, such as Fiberlogy PA12+CF5 and PA12+CF15, PA12+GF15 offers greater flexibility. It is ideal for applications operating under variable loads and exposed to impacts. Low filament shrinkage ensures high dimensional stability, enabling precise printing even at home.
Fiberlogy PA12+GF15 filament does not require a heated chamber, however, due to its high abrasiveness, it is recommended to use steel or ruby nozzles to prevent excessive wear of the equipment.
