Prusament PA11 Natural filament with a 1.75mm diameter and 0.80kg net weight, designed for FFF printing of technical parts, gears and moving components. PA11 provides a low coefficient of friction, high wear and impact resistance, UV resistance and temperature resistance up to 122.5°C after annealing. Prusament PA11 NFC
Prusament PA11 Natural 1.75mm 0.80kg NFC filament is designed for FDM/FFF printing of technical parts, gears, moving components and parts requiring resistance to wear and mechanical loads. PA11 belongs to the polyamide family and, according to the manufacturer, combines useful mechanical properties with lower moisture uptake than many other polyamides and a high level of strength consistency across different print directions.
Material density is 1.02g/cm³. Tensile strength of the filament itself reaches 44.8±0.5MPa, while hardness is 70 Shore D. Interlayer adhesion reaches 32±1MPa, and the tensile-strength anisotropy ratio is 0.84. A value closer to 1 indicates more uniform tensile strength across different directions relative to layer orientation. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="4"}
For printed test specimens, tensile strength reached 38.3±0.8MPa in the XY direction and 39.5±0.5MPa in the XZ direction. Tensile modulus was 1.2GPa in both directions, while flexural strength reached 41.4±0.8MPa and 47.2±0.7MPa respectively. Notched Charpy impact strength reached 12.9±2.1kJ/m² for XY specimens and 11.7±1.2kJ/m² for XZ specimens. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="5"}
The recommended nozzle temperature is 275±10°C, the bed temperature is 100±10°C and the chamber temperature is 55±5°C. The manufacturer specifies a maximum volumetric speed of 10mm³/s and cooling fan setting of 15–20%. The recommended build surface is the PA Nylon sheet. These parameters are defined for Prusament PA11 and may require adjustment depending on printer configuration and part geometry. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="6"}
PA11 remains hygroscopic. At 25°C and 30% relative humidity, the manufacturer measured moisture absorption of 0.26% after 24h and 0.46% after 7 days. Heat deflection temperature is 58.7°C at 0.45MPa and 49.9°C at 1.80MPa. The values in the technical data sheet refer to specific test methods and conditions and should be treated as comparative engineering data when designing functional parts. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="7"}
